2025 Reflection
As we wrap up a first year of Kim to Summit, I look back with a lot of gratitude and excitement. The idea for this business came very slowly in the back of my mind while I trained for mountaineering endeavors over the last 1.5 years, and as I prepare to start training again for Mount Rainier again for this summer, it’s insane to consider how much has been accomplished in the past year. Although the Etsy shop didn’t launch until the fall and this website a bit later, material sourcing and testing, vendor selection, machine learning, and business setup started long before anything outward facing.
Max (my husband) and I also threw together some scrappy but awesome little vacations this past fall so we could get some fresh air despite a very busy and chaotic year. I look forward to sharing a bit about those experiences here in this blog; not for the purpose of monetizing or offering any unwarranted advice about anything, but simply to share the things that bring me joy with customers and friends who are doing similar things.
Thanks for being here, thanks for sharing your stories, passions, and experiences, and I can’t wait to continue growing, learning, and connecting with more of you!
